Join us for 21 Days of Fasting & Prayer in January!
Together we’ll draw closer to God, experiencing a profound impact as His presence moves mightily in our church and in our lives.
Fasting
Complete Fast: Abstaining from all food for a specific period, such as from 6 AM to 6 PM or for several days.
Meal-Specific Fast: Choosing to skip a particular meal, like breakfast or dinner, to focus on prayer and seeking God.
Abstaining
While fasting typically refers to going without food, abstaining involves temporarily giving up other things—like TV, social media, or specific activities—to remove distractions and focus on God. These practices can complement fasting.
Technology: Abstaining from TV, social media, or other technologies for a period of time.
Partial Fast: Choosing to abstain from specific types of food, such as in the Daniel Fast.
When entering a time of fasting, prayerfully consider what God is leading you to do. (If you have medical concerns, consult your doctor before starting a fast.)
